Reporting for Duty Ep.1 (Pt.2)

Hi! Today was my third day at the camp.
Read about Part 1 here.

The students went to Muar today for Explore Race and a community service project.
So, the teachers tagged along as well.

Woohoo! I love outing!

The day was sunny and windy. It was the perfect weather to go on a walk by the riverside.

The bus dropped us off at Tanjung Emas Square.
This was my first time in Muar. Needless to say, I was quite excited.

Did you know that Muar is one of the cleanest city in South East Asia?
According to Wikipedia, Muar was awarded with ASEAN Clean Tourist City Standard Award in 2017.
Keep up the good job, Muar!

The teachers sat beside the jetty and enjoyed the breeze while the students were running around excitedly.

Fast forward to three hours later, it was Zohor prayer time.
I love the architecture of the mosque. It was a good combination between Islamic architecture and Colonial influences.

After lunch and prayer, the students gathered for a round of parliamentary debate.

After they concluded their activity here, we did a community service project. Then, we headed back to the campsite at around 4:30 pm.

Yesterday, I joined the students for kayaking.

Please ignore my messy hair.
It's been a long time since I last did kayak. I remember when I was studying in college, my friends and I used to kayak rather often at Taman Tasik Shah Alam. Those were some fun times!

The students did obstacle course in the evening too.
I tried Monkey Bar as well. I managed to make it through halfway before I fell down.
Nothing impressive but that was my best record. I used to be worse (haha).

That's all for now.
Thank you, God, for this opportunity to rest and work away from the school.
