Now, breathe in......

So much had happened over the past few weeks.

So much have yet to come.

At this point, I am so overwhelmed that it is impossible for me to talk about work without giving out negativity. So we will talk about anything apart from work here today.

Let's talk about cafés, again.

If you didn't know it yet, I have developed this new hobby of visiting cafés.

You can read Part I here

I had a sumptuous dinner with my friend at this dining place called Union Fashion Bar (UFB). It is located in Taman Pelangi.

The atmosphere was right, the companion was good, and the food was spendid.

Two of us ordered a chicken pizza, a classic waffle, and a lychee martini souffle.

Look at this pizza!

The combination of crispy thin crust, juicy diced chicken, mozzarella cheese, and sundried tomato oil is just good. Well done. Urgh, I am salivating as I am writing this.

I was a tad bit tipsy after I had this lychee martini souffle.

On that slightly high note, I entered the second half of my March break.

Before the March break ended, I tried out a dessert place called Sugar On Top (S.O.T.) with some of my TFM fellow comrades. It is just few shops away from UFB.

S.O.T is the heaven for macha lovers.
Presenting to you, macha hotcake.

I would recommend that you share this among a few friends because the macha filling is so dense and flavorful that you will get a sugar coma after eating it.

On the last day of March, I went to Monsta Café with one of my collabs.

We were on our way home after attending a workshop in another school, but we got lost, so we decided to turn into Nusa Bestari and checked out this place instead.

My collab ordered a fish and chips; I went for a honey mustard chicken chop.

Both the portion and the taste were deeply satisfying.

I love how they marinated the chicken with mustard and honey was given as a sauce at the side.

On an unrelated side note, cross cut fries are the best fries on earth.

The fourth café that I am introducing in this post is The Sugar Pantry, which is located in Taman Molek.

This place offers durian related dessert!

My friend and I ordered a Durian Macaron King and some churros.

Yes. This. It tasted as good as it seems.

Every layer is stuffed with either chunks of real durian flesh or durian flavored ice cream.

The sourness of mango helps to balance the taste out a little.

The macaron biscuits were left untouched though, cause they were harder than rocks.

Seriously, JB has so many cafés that are authentic and sophisticated.

I don't think I want to try all of them, but at this point I am definitely still interested in visiting more.

Who knows where and when this café hunt will end?
