Recently, I have developed a new (read: luxurious) hobby:
visiting cafés.
The first café (or cake house) I visited was Moonlight, which is located in Permas Jaya.
The pastries look appetizing, but I only ordered a drink. The ponzu yougurt drink that I had was flavorful and I liked it.
Unfortunately I didn't take any picture of the drink or the surrounding.
So, here're some random pictures of light bulb as filter before we move on.
The second café I visited was VanillaBean, which is located in Senibong Cove.
The café serves a variety of authentic waffles.
My friend and I ordered a charcoal waffle topped with vanilla gelato covered in salted egg sauce.
And the taste?
Heavenly.
The third place I went to is not a western café, but rather a modernized kopitiam franchise called Chamek Kopitiam. It is located in downtown of Pasir Gudang.
We had a farewell dinner there for a colleague. The theme of that night dinner was seafood. I had surely stuffed myself that night.
And wouldn't you take a look at the food?!
So good. Ahhh, just so good.
The fourth café that I visited last night was called Happily Ever After. It is located in Taman Pelangi. The café is famous for its burgers with cute-looking animal faces.
I ordered a lion face burger with salted-egg prawn fillet; my friend ordered a cat (or rabbit?) face burger with sweet fried chicken fillet.
Indeed, the burgers looked adorable~!
Why café?
After a long day in school, I desire some relaxing music, slow-paced environment, dim lighting, good company, and beautiful food.
Well, technically I can get all of the above at home, but I will have to clean up after I eat. Once in a while I would like to escape from that responsibility. Besides, visiting different café allows me to explore the city more, and I love adventures.
So yup, cafés.
